A numerical wave
transformation model (SWAN) has been used to derive an algorithm for
propagating the offshore wave forecast into False Bay offshore of
Gordons Bay. The offshore forecast is obtained twice a day
from the WaveWatch III Model predictions from the National Centers for
Environmental Predication (NCEP) (WaveWatch III)
